Staffordshire Poet Laureate 2017-19
I am incredibly honoured and excited to have been appointed the position of Staffordshire Poet Laureate for the next two years. As a regular participant at various poetry and performance events around the county, I have been struck by just how varied and stimulating the modern poetry scene can be, and I cannot wait to get readers and writers from all walks of life involved in that. Equally, I am hugely looking forward to working with the new Young Poet Laureate, as the first female Laureate duo for Staffordshire. – Emily
